The top European elite leagues are set to Resume with The German Bundesliga Kicking off tomorrow 16th may with a host of competitions.
The European top five leagues are set to Resume apart from French League 1 whose league has been cancelled following the French Government directives that no sporting activity in the country till September, which makes the football governing body to declare PSG the league champions and the Golden boot being given to PSG forward; Kylian Mbappe. The Dutch league is the first to cancel it’s football season declaring the league null and void with no champion, no relegation.
The English Premier League has been given greenlight to resume by the U.K government from 1st June but meeting is being held with the clubs to know when the league will officially resume after a long break due to the Corona virus pandemic. The training ground has already being opened by clubs for players to start their individual trainings with clubs telling their players outside U.K to start returning.
The Spanish League are confident of resuming their season after the clubs held out plan for the remaining of the season to start from the middle of June. Players has already being tested for the virus and trainings have kicked off by respective clubs with social distancing rule being observed.
The Italian league has resumed individual training after the government gave greenlight for athletes to start training from may 4th. The 20 clubs have all voted in favor of the league to resume but the exact date is yet to be announced.
