Stress is the body’s reaction to any change that requires an adjustment. Stress is related to depression, and this is because stress can lead to health problems like depression and anxiety. Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest.
The causes of stress may be these; divorce, loss of job, accident, overworking, death of any family member or even failure in school examination.
Ways or how to reduce stress and eventually win depression.
The Following are a list of things a person must do in order to overcome stress:
1. Get enough sleep.
2.Eat healthier, get a well balanced diet
3.Do regular exercise.
4.Be away from people who will stress you, and surrounds yourself with positive people
5.Don’t have many responsibilities. Delegate some duties to others.
6. Have breaks in your work.
7.Find things that will make you feel better.
8 .Talk to counselor and mental health.
9.Connect yourself to people .
10.Avoid unhealthy style. like drinking alcohol, and smoking
11.Reads books and writes more.
12.Be a better person, do a lots of kindness
13.Spends time with family and friends.
14.Stay active .
15.Give things to others without expecting return from them.
You are responsible to protect from STRESS. Never allow anyone to put you high jumps because stress has many effects especially on your health which when increased leads to depression. It affects your mood drastically. It may lead you to withdraw from school, job or relationship and make you unable to maintain your positive habits. Therefore, do everything possible to manage stress well and lead happier.
